Heart Songs and Love Notes - from the World for the Children of Ukraine is more than a concert!  Our 300+ participant musical showcase is a collective outpouring of love from the world to the children of Ukraine.

The program was originally streamed live from CommonTime on Sunday, November 13th, 2022.

Meet the founder of the Voices of Children Foundation and two of her students, speaking live from Ukraine. Enjoy performers from 18 countries: children playing chimes; Ukrainian vocalists and pianists; choirs from Mexico, Ukraine, the United States, and Wales; instrumental sextet from the Republic of Ireland; a world renowned harpist from Switzerland; and the Global Family Virtual Choir.  A Q&A with the Voices of Children Foundation presenters concludes the event.

All proceeds received by the World Children's Choir / Global Family Virtual Choir are donated to the Voices of Children Foundation in Ukraine.

About the project:

In early March 2022, we invited children, teens, and adults to learn and record Prayer for Ukraine/ Molytva za Ukrayinu, the patriotic and spiritual anthem of Ukraine. Both Prayer for Ukraine and Love Sings a New Song for the World virtual videos were included in our online benefit concert for Ukrainian children.

All proceeds received by World Children’s Choir were donated to the Voices of Children Foundation which has been helping Ukrainian children affected by war since 2015. The concert was live streamed from the CommonTime Online global platform.

The first performer invited to appear in Heart Songs ~ Love Notes from the World for the children of Ukraine benefit concert was Georg Synzherak, a young Ukrainian vocalist with a world class talent, now living temporarily in England.  As the months went by additional artists, soloists and ensembles, were invited to appear in the concert. Over 300 performers from eighteen countries participated.

The World Children’s Choir is very grateful to all of them!
